I completed the first Karnival sequel, The Book of Nola. This was quite fun! Interwoven
first person narratives from Nola and Heath, and a series of newspaper clippings and personal correspondences.
Some of you might be thrilled to know that NO ONE DIES in this one ... and several old favourites return. |

Cayle Chernin/Cayle Film is working with me on my first feature screenplay, The Circle Eternal.
Ms. Chernin, whom you might remember as one of the four principals in the Canadian Classic
Goin' Down the Road, has produced several award-winning documentaries, and will star in the film.

The Nutrition Made Simple CD-ROM was released in January 2004. The programmers and artists were
both so talented, it was quite a joy for me to design the games and functions of this educational CD-ROM. |

I completed the final piece for my "Wicked People" collection: a novella entitled The Shattered Sisters.
I've quite enjoyed writing The Circle Eternal and am intrigued with the idea of adapting S.S. for the
stage. |

I moved to a fantastic new loft, which I believe might be haunted.

I left Gutter Press for non-payment and refusal to provide a royalty statement. Suffice it to say,
I was pushed to the point of pulling their license to print and distribute Karnival and filed in
Small Claims Court to recoup monies owed. This action has nearly reached its resolution, and now I shall
turn my mind to finding proper representation and/or a new publisher. |
Have fun, kids! And never let them get you down!
