An original comedy feature.

Fading Hollywood star Libby Hamilton concocts a "brilliant" plan to resurrect her failing career and finds herself mixed up with: a trash-talking country girl en route to have an abortion; a bumbling, double-crossing lackey; and a blowhard ex-husband intent on her murder. A comic clash of class and ego from the author of Karnival.

Poster Concept by Michael Mortensen
"The Circle Eternal" began life as a short story, became a novella, and then, at the urging of award-winning filmmaker Cayle Chernin was adapted to serve as the pilot for Michael Mortensen's Wicked People, a 13-part anthology series. Award winning filmmaker/actress Leslie Ann Coles joined the project as our third producer in October 2005.

Quotes:
Aaron Woodley - Director of the feature film Rhinosceros Eyes
"A really good read. I think I'm becoming a fan. I could also really visualize it being a great film (kept thinking of classy, old Hitchcock films)."

Once an integral sales tool of MMC Video One Canada, Video Preview was my first professional writing contract. This monthly, one hour video followed an "Entertainment-Tonight" format, with a host introducing each trailer. Beginning in 1990, I wrote a total of 24 episodes before the show was discontinued early in its fourth season, spring 1992.

bullet  24 1 hour episodes seen in over 5000 markets across Canada

July 1990 featuring Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale April 1991 featuring The Grifters July 1991 featuring The Doors August 1991 featuring Madonna's Truth or Dare October 1991 featuring Terminator 2 November 1991 featuring Jungle Fever

Notable Hosts  (I had so much fun writing for these wonderful women!):
Natalie Gray, whom some of you might remember fondly as host of the 1980's series Switchback, now lives in L.A. where she operates Airbrush Avenue, a globally-successful design company that produces everything from one-of-a-kind murals and art to PlayboyTM footwear. Natalie was always such a trouper: shooting continued with minimal upset when she was hit in the head by falling scenery, or slipped on Armour-AllTM doused rubber flooring!  Natalie Gray
PSI Factor with Nancy Sakovich   Final host Nancy Sakovich went on to star in television favourites Destiny Ridge, PSI Factor, and Queer as Folk. She continues to guest star on shows such as Relic Hunter, The Commish, and others.

I'm always delighted to see Nancy appear on my television screen.
