In March, Cayle Chernin and I produced "Letter to Liza" from digital guru Jason J. Brown. The first of the Wicked People productions, LTL has screened at several festivals, and earned a
nomination for Best Experimental at its Female Eye Film Festival debut. I was delighted to sit on the panel following our two screenings at Rendezvous With Madness Film Festival. |
In April and May, we shot "Tea With Mother," the demo episode for Michael Mortensen's Wicked People: the series. A teaser screening at
The Female Eye Film Festival June 2006 delighted the audience. |
Also in April, my neighbour Donna and I appeared in the debut episode of Scream TV's reality series "This is What Happened ...", which premiered in August and continues to be broadcast. |
In July, Wicked People was selected from more than forty entries as one of five finalists in ACTRA Toronto's Pitch the Networks Contest, and earned recognition as runner-up. |
We are still seeking funding for Wicked Angel a music/dance/drama video starring Toronto singing sensation Serafin. We hope to produce the piece later in the year. |
Visit the Wicked People website for more information about the above productions. |
